Marssaié is a designer, educator, and researcher working across design and academia, exploring how design shapes identity, wellbeing, and the spaces we inhabit.
Her practice sits at the intersection of design and culture, informed by a vibrant Caribbean lens and shaped by lived experience across culturally rich environments, including the Caribbean and Malaysia. This perspective informs how she approaches context, heritage, and the ways people connect to ideas, environments, and each other.
With over a decade of experience in the design industry, her work has spanned creative direction, design education, mentoring, and critical evaluation, contributing to contemporary design discourse through education, awards juries, and initiatives supporting emerging creatives. This includes lecturing, mentoring, and serving as a juror for awards such as D&AD and the World Illustration Awards.
She is currently developing a research-led and purpose-driven practice, with a developing focus on spatial and experiential design.
